There is a story to be told through every expression captured, even when subjects can’t tell the stories for themselves. Which is why no two portraits are alike. The art of portrait photography is my passion and I pride my work on being able to make that connection through the lens of my camera. I often involve my subjects in the process of creating portraits, yet give them enough space to self-reflect to achieve the final image.

Back in 1999 was when I first picked up a camera and learned that my connection with photography ran deeper than just snapping shots of friends at skate parks. My desire ran deep and my hunger for creating a portrait has continued to develop throughout the years. In today’s day and age, it’s so easy to see a photograph that looks polished through manipulation in Photoshop. Yet, the true art to me is being able to capture elements that exert true raw beauty.
